Escalante’s in The Woodlands has a variety of margaritas on its menu to match its fine Tex-Mex cuisine.

The most popular margarita at the restaurant is the Escalante’s No. 4, a margarita on the rocks made with Herradura double-barrel reposado tequila and blended with premium Naranja liqueur.

General Manager Heber Flores said he believes the $12 margarita is a unique drink since he claims Escalante’s is the only restaurant in The Woodlands area that carries the tequila for the beverage.

“We’re the only one here to have the double-barrel reposado tequila,” Flores said. “We also make our own simple syrup here and add fresh lime juice.”

Flores said customers can also get other frozen margaritas as well as wine, beer and select appetizers during Escalante’s happy hour from 3-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
