The Nutty Scientists of Houston have brought after-school programs to The Woodlands, Conroe and Houston for two and a half years. Next week, they are opening their own space at 8000 McBeth Way Ste. 160, The Woodlands.

Owner Victoria Lioznyansky, also known as Professor Proton, said the new location will be open for birthday parties, classes and camps, which will include hands-on science experiments and science-themed shows.

“We will continue having programs in schools and expanding into more schools and into more areas, but our space for parties will be only in The Woodlands for now,” Lioznyansky said.

The Nutty Scientists host programs at schools in The Woodlands, such as The John Cooper School, The Woodlands Methodist School, The Woodlands Preparatory School and The Woodlands Young Learners Academy, Lioznyansky said.

Classes will begin Oct. 24, and parents are invited to stop by to learn more beginning Oct. 10.
