Oct 7-8: Pearland Craft Fair

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church hosts its 28th annual two-day craft fair. Exhibitors sell handcrafted and unique retail items. Oct. 7-8: 13th Annual Plant Thyme Fall Luncheon

Keep Pearland Beautiful, a non-profit environmental organization affiliated with Keep America Beautiful, Inc., will host its annual luncheon. This year's featured guest speaker is Ann McCormick, a gardner and herbal writer. The luncheon includes a native plant sale and silent auction. Proceeds benefit KPB environmental programs and the Stella Roberts Recycling Center. 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m (Oct. 7), 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. (Oct. 8). Oct. 8 : Concert on the Lawn

Bring a blanket and lawn chair, and enjoy an intimate outdoor concert by singer-songwriter Robert Greaney at the Baybrook Mall. Greaney plays a variety of music, including rock, blues, jazz and country. Alcohol is prohibited on the lawn. Oct. 8: Red Carpet Gala

The Adult Reading Center hosts the fourth annual event, which features musical entertainment, a casino and a live and silent auction. Grazia Italian Kitchen provides dinner, and a coffee bar was donated by The Drink Station. The event also includes a wine pull with a chance to win a bottle of wine. 7 p.m.-midnight. $100 (includes dinner, two drink tickets and $10,000 in casino chips). Sponsorship prices vary.
