A fall craft festival, a community fair and the first Halloween bash of the season are on deck this weekend, along with the opening night for a dinner theater production in Old Town Spring.

“Murder on the Oriental Rug”

A family-friendly dinner show opens this weekend and continues Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 22. Dinner is not included in the price of tickets, and dining is required to attend. The annual Spring Klein Chamber of Commerce Community Expo brings together 75 local business exhibitors and a variety of activities for adults and children. MainStreet America hosts a day of breast cancer education and programs in conjunction with Houston Methodist Breast Care Center at the Woodlands. Activities include mini makeovers, a cooking demonstration, a virtual tour of the breast care center, a physician question and answer session and a fashion show for attendees who arrive wearing pink. Zomball in Tomball
The annual Halloween bash features a giant trick-or-treat celebration for children courtesy of local vendors and organizations.
