The annual Community Impact Newspaper Round Rock Chalk Walk and Festival drew significant crowds Friday and Saturday, with festival-goers enjoying food, live music and most of all—chalk street art. Those who attended both days were able to watch works progress throughout the weekend from sketches on concrete into finished works of art. Artists competed in a variety of categories. Here are the winners: Although not every artist who participated walked away with a prize, their work was witnessed by more than 35,000 visitors, according to Round Rock Arts.
