The North Texas Tollway Authority will close the north- and southbound left lanes of Dallas Parkway along the Dallas North Tollway tomorrow morning as construction to reconfigure the DNT/President George Bush Turnpike interchange continues.
The frontage road closures will take place from Haverwood Lane in Dallas to Parker Road in Plano. The closures are expected to remain in place until Nov. 20.
The interchange reconfiguration project includes an additional lane on the direct-connector ramps as well as on the DNT main lanes between the PGBT and the Sam Rayburn Tollway. The entire $281 million project is expected to be complete in 2018.
NTTA has also scheduled several lane and ramp closures during the early morning hours of Oct. 3. The closures will take place for repairs and inspections. All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary.
The following areas will be closed from 1-4 a.m. Oct. 3 for overhead sign inspections:
- The northbound US 75 ramp to Sam Rayburn Tollway north
- The northeast-bound direct connector ramps from the Sam Rayburn Tollway to the Dallas North Tollway
- Two southwest-bound SRT right lanes from US 75 to Hillcrest Road/Rasor Boulevard
- All southwest-bound exit ramps between US 75 and Watters Road/Lake Forest Drive (no two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time)
