Sept. 30: Painting & Pints
Bakfish Brewery, in conjunction with Escape & Paint Art Studio, hosts a night of arts and beer, as patrons are invited to paint a pair of pint glasses while tasting some of the brewery’s unique beers on tap. Oct. 1: Mistletoe Market
The Belles Club of BellaVita hosts the shopping event featuring more than 70 vendors. A portion of proceeds benefit Military Moms And Wives Of Brazoria County. Oct. 1-2: Arts & Crafts on the Pavilion
The Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau hosts the art show, which offers visitors the opportunity to shop for art created by local artists. Music is provided by Courageous Band on Oct. 1 with 4 Barrel Ramblers and Modulation Band playing Oct. 2. A food truck court is available both days as well as a wine bistro from Dionisio Winery. Oct. 1-2: Hope Lutheran Hopefest
Hope Lutheran Church hosts its 20th annual event where the community is invited to the two-day celebration filled with activities for all ages. Additional events are scheduled before and after the event, including a craft fair, bake sale, tea room, live and silent auctions, a barbecue meal and children’s games. Proceeds from the activities, plus matching funds from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, are used to fund local charities and congregational outreach efforts. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Oct. 1), 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (Oct. 2). Worth the Trip: Sugar Land
Oct. 2: Fall kids fest and pumpkin patch
Autumn activities at Sugar Land Memorial Park include pumpkin decorating, face painting, balloon animals, multiple vendors, a live bee hive and a children’s planting station. The event is put on by The Great Grow, a nonprofit organization that supports school gardens. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Free (admission).
