Cozy seating options, colorful artwork and a wide selection of board games make for a vibrant atmosphere at Honey Teahouse in Cypress.

Manager Phuong Truong said the teahouse has been offering fresh fruit smoothies, creamy smoothies, hot and iced coffees, honey milk teas, oriental herb teas and fruit juices for more than two years.

The strawberry and mango smoothie, sold for $4.58, offers a refreshing blend of fresh fruit with tapioca as a popular add-in. Customers can add tapioca for an additional 48 cents.

“The tapioca jelly is an optional addition that is common with our customers,” Truong said.

Other flavors include blueberry, pineapple, green apple, grape, avocado and peach among others. The shop also serves sandwiches, bagels and seasonal fruit plates.
