The McKinney ISD board of trustees named new officers at its regular monthly meeting on June 21.

Bobby Amick was named president, Curtis Rippee was named vice-president and Stephanie O’Dell was named secretary.

Amick, who holds the Place 2 position, is a local attorney with the law firm Francis Orr & Totusek LLP and has served on the board since August 2011.

Rippee, who serves at-large in Place 7, was elected to the board in 2010 and has more than 25 years of
financial and operational management experience.

O’Dell, who also serves at-large in Place 6, was appointed to  the board in 2014 when former trustee Wade Johnson stepped down.

She elected to a full term in spring 2015.
