Rental rates have mostly remained steady for retail space in Cy-Fair through the first quarter of 2016. The increase in the vacancy rate can be largely attributed to the closing of a Wal-Mart location on FM 1960. There are 12 new buildings and approximately 351,000 square feet under construction in the Cy-Fair area for new retail space.
