Southlake City Council

Place 3 - Chad M. Patton

TOP PRIORITIES
As a future council member, I would like to see future development remain consistent with the 2030 plan. This includes accounting for pedestrian and auto traffic flow throughout our community. I would like to maintain the excellent relationship the city has with CISD. I believe it’s important Southlake continues to offer our residents and families a great educational and athletic program, desirable neighborhoods, attractive retail and a nationally recognized parks system.

Carroll ISD

Place 1 - Michelle Moore (Incumbent)

TOP PRIORITIES
We face many challenges and opportunities, and each of them needs to be met with thoughtful consideration. In the coming term, we will need to prioritize the recommendations from our Capital Needs Planning Committee, address rezoning to best utilize our assets, and continue to provide an environment where our teachers and administrators can provide our students with the best possible educational experience. My goal is not only to #ProtectTheTradition, but to build on it.

Place 7 - Christopher Archer (Incumbent)

TOP PRIORITIES
My goal is to continue working hard for the betterment of the kids throughout Carroll. My goals are to maintain the close and cohesive relationship with both the administration and the city. Together we can continue to make our district and community great. We will continue to take on school financing in order to provide the best for all of our kids, even in the face of Robin Hood. Last, but not least, I hope to continue with our goals set forth in our strategic plan and protect our tradition.

Grapevine City Council

Place 3 - Mike Lease (Incumbent)

TOP PRIORITIES
I am concerned about the existing retail areas around downtown that need redevelopment, and I will work hard to find new retail partners to upgrade these centers. Our citizens want a new grocery store in the northeast area of Grapevine, and I will work with our city staff to bring a new store to town. I want to work to complete the repairs and rebuilding caused by last year’s damaging floods. I want to work toward a better Grapevine by planning for future needs in roadways and parks.

Place 4 - Darlene Freed (Incumbent)

TOP PRIORITIES
During my next term, my goals are to see the completion of the new police department/fire administration building, help make the downtown train district an asset for our citizens and visitors, make sure our public facilities—fire stations in particular—are updated to meet current and future needs, and to secure quality economic growth that will continue to keep the city’s property taxes low and will continue to provide outstanding quality of life and city services to all citizens.

Grapevine-Colleyville ISD

Place 3 - Louie Sullins

TOP PRIORITIES
Add my unique talents to an already strong board in a balanced discussion between guiding the district forward and keeping academic achievement for our children as the primary objective. Continue making this a community of choice for our current residents while attracting new families to Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. As one voice of seven, I want to maintain, evaluate and adopt policies that contribute to the already successful vision of the district.

TOP PRIORITIES
I am honored to begin another term on the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD school board. This gives me the opportunity to continue to oversee LEAD 2021 strategies and their successful implementation, along with the ability to continue to evaluate and approve a budget that targets academic and student activities. We have a great school district with wonderful programs for all our students. I am excited to be a part of the continuous efforts to make GCISD the best.

GCISD Bond election

In May, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD residents will vote on a $249 million bond package—the largest bond proposal in district history.

Superintendent Robin Ryan said with more than 1,300 proposed projects in the package, the bond would affect every campus and department in GCISD, from transportation to nutrition.
