A new Target store in a development called Grand Parkway Marketplace is set to open for business next year. It will be located at the northwest corner of Grand Parkway and Kuykendahl Road in Spring.

The opening is an effort by Target to open new general merchandise stores in markets with high growth potential, Target Spokesperson Kristy Welker said.

“In addition to opening flexible format stores in urban centers and near college campuses, Target plans to open new general merchandise stores in select markets with increasing growth, offering the latest merchandising layouts and an integrated in-store and on-demand shopping experience,” Welker said.

The 126,000-square-foot store is due to open March 2017. It will offer products such as apparel, baby and home goods, electronics and entertainment items, health and beauty items, fresh groceries, toys and sporting goods.

Services the store will offer include optical, pharmacy, order pickup and Target Mobile—online shopping.

New York-based Kimco is developing the marketplace. Target will be the anchor store and will accompany other retail outlets. The address for the store is  6766 N. Grand Parkway West, where Kuykendahl and Spring Stuebner roads intersect.

“We’re excited to be part of Kimco’s Grand Parkway Marketplace shopping development and the Spring, Texas community,” Welker said.
