Veracruz All Natural's migas taco was named one of the top five tacos in America by Food Network.[/caption]

Austin-based food truck Veracruz All Natural will open its first brick and mortar location inside the La Frontera shopping center in Round Rock in late March or early April.

The restaurant is owned and operated by sisters Reyna and Maritza Vazquez, who are from Veracruz, Mexico. They started the trailer eight years ago as a juice and smoothie trailer, but began serving tacos and quesadillas, which they soon became recognized for, said Ryan Meyers, Reyna's husband and the restaurant's media coordinator.

Since then, he said, Veracruz All Natural has received nationwide recognition for its tacos, including having its migas taco named one of The Food Network's top five tacos in America.

Ryan said Veracruz uses fresh ingredients that the owners shop for each day. He said the new site will allow the sisters to expand their menu to include lunch options such a chile relleno, pollo frito and enchiladas de mole, as well as the tacos for which they are known and a weekend brunch. He said the location will also serve juices and smoothies.

"This is the reason [Reyna and Maritza] wanted a brick and mortar, to have more freedom to try things out," Ryan said.

Ryan said the owners have remodeled the location, at 2711 La Frontera Blvd. next to  Brooklyn Pie Co., "to give it an organic, rustic Veracruz, Mexico-restaurant vibe."
