The mobile computer lab began visiting various elementary, middle and high schools in January.
The mobile classroom is staffed with Plano ISD personnel where parents and students can learn about computer literacy, language skills and science as well as show them how to access the district’s Parent Portal.
The free program has been operating since 2010. In November, Hickey Elementary School teachers visited third- and fifth-graders in the Cottonwood Glen community. McCall Elementary School is also partnering with the program to conduct science experiments throughout the neighborhood, according to the district.
