The South Austin location of Pinthouse Pizza, which opened in October, is working to ramp up its production of housemade beers offered on tap.
There were nine beers on tap when the location opened, and there are about 20 now, owner Tyler Norwood said. In 2016 that will increase to 25, including some barrel-aged beer.
“We try to keep [the beer selection] unique so that ... our brewing team at each location has the chance to have their own creative voice,” Norwood said.
