In February, Independence Fine Foods aims to apply for a license to sell beer and wine, chef/proprietor Casey Livingston said.
Offerings will include bottled Texas craft beers and domestic beers, Livingston said. Wine will be sold by the bottle and glass, he said.
“We have a lot of guests that have requested it, and we’re looking to expand our dinner menu,” he said, explaining that in 2016 seven new items, including a few fine-dining entrees, will be added to the current lineup. Some new items are staff picks and requested dishes that will become permanent menu items.
The restaurant hopes to obtain the license by this summer, Livingston said.
