Since opening its first Houston location at Vintage Park in February, owners of Mo’s Irish Pub have found a their business to be popular among Houston area residents.
“The people of Houston have been great to us since day one,” said owner Johnny Vassallo, who founded the first Mo’s in Milwaukee. “I never once questioned the decision to come here.”
Vassallo came to Houston for his fourth location after opening the first three pubs in Wisconsin and Indiana.
Now a fifth location, in Cypress, is in the works at the intersection of Hwy. 290 and Mueschke Road, expected to open Fe. 23 and a sixth is coming to College Station.
The Cypress location will follow the path to success used at Vintage Park, offering authentic Irish cuisine, an extensive bar menu and regular live music events.
“If we could pick up the Vintage Park location and make a copy for Cypress, we would,” Vassallo said. “The new location will also have a mezzanine for private parties up to 40 and patio seating.”
