Adeline Bui, owner of forthcoming Hanovers 2 in Round Rock, said she is expecting to wrap construction on the location in January and is aiming for a February opening.

Bui, who also owns Hanovers Draught Haus in Pflugerville, said she is aiming for Hanovers 2 to be an upscale bar and restaurant. She said the location will feature an area for live music, a rooftop deck and sand volleyball courts.

“We’re hoping to be the next place people hang out at instead of going to downtown Austin,” Bui said.

Bui said the building, which is just south of SH 45 N on I-35, will feature a contemporary design. She said she was inspired by restaurants in New York and California.

“It has a lot of features you haven’t seen in any of the bars in [the area],” she said.

Bui said the menu is still in the works, but it will feature gourmet burgers and brunch options as well. Bui said patrons can expect “a lot of interesting things” on the menu.

The original Hanovers is located in downtown Pflugerville at 108 E. Main St. and similarly features live music and sand volleyball.
