1. I-45 single-point urban interchange
A single-point urban interchange—SPUI—is a realignment of Robinson Road from I-45 to east of the Union Pacific railroad tracks near Hanna Road. It includes a widening and will extend the Woodlands Parkway direct connector over Woodloch Forest and Six Pines Drive.

2. Grogan’s Mill Road widening
This project will widen the northbound and southbound approach lanes on Woodlands Parkway and widen the northbound and southbound lanes under the overpass at Woodlands Parkway and Grogan’s Mill Road. Eastbound and westbound left-turn lanes will be added, and the southbound right-turn lane will be extended at Grogan’s Mill Road and Woodlands Parkway.

Under construction[/caption]3. I-45 HOV lane extension
The I-45 high-occupancy vehicle lane extension will add one lane in each direction along I-45 from north of FM 1960 to the South Loop 336 in Conroe. Construction began in October 2015. The project will be complete the second quarter of 2016, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

4. Lake Woodlands Drive grade separation
The 2-mile grade separation starts at Lake Front Circle near Whole Foods Market The Woodlands and ends just west of Six Pines Drive. The design and funding is by The Woodlands Road Utility District No. 1. The overpass will be two lanes in both eastbound and westbound directions.

Zachry-Odebrecht continues work on F-1, F-2 and G, The Woodlands-area segments that make up part of the 180-mile toll road that will be Houston’s third outer loop. The completion date for Segment G has been extended to early 2016 because of weather conditions.

Pending funding[/caption]6. Gosling Road Bridge over Spring Creek
A bridge over Spring Creek, which spans Harris and Montgomery counties, has been designed by the WRUD. Funding is still pending, and the design and construction is being studied by both counties.

7. Kuykendahl Road and bridge widening
The project is a joint partnership between WRUD No. 1, Montgomery County and Harris County. It is a completion of the widening to four lanes of Kuykendahl Road from Flintridge Drive to Augusta Pines Drive. Additional widening includes Flintridge Drive to Pine Planes Drive and Indian Hills to Timarron Drive. It will also include building a new two-lane bridge next to the existing bridge over Spring Creek. Harris County has awarded the construction contract for the Kuykendahl Road Segment D1 between Indian Hill Road and Timarron Drive to 4-C Construction Services, located in Spring. The bridge is being designed by the WRUD No. 1 and will be bid upon completion of project development.

8. Woodlands Parkway expansion
The expansion will stretch from Grogan’s Mill Road to I-45. In both the westbound and eastbound lanes, the roadway will widen from three to four lanes with dedicated right-turn lanes.
