The Round Rock Chamber of Commerce announced Dec. 3 it has launched a Small Business Guide, which aims to be a comprehensive resource to assist entrepreneurs and those looking to start or grow a business.
"If you’re a small business, time is critical," chamber President and CEO Mike Odom said. "[The chamber created the guide] so you can find all this without spending hours searching."
The guide has three primary sections: getting started, growing a business and business resources. The guide also features a business plan template, marketing and financial advice, and contact information for organizations that support local businesses.
"The chamber is proud to publish the expertise and insight within this guide and is looking ahead to cultivating and promoting more support resources for local entrepreneurs," said Monica Maher, the chamber's vice president of community enhancement, in a statement.
The guide is available
online for free at the chamber's website. The work is licensed under the Creative Common Share Alike license, so other entities can use sections of the guide free of charge.
