The fifth Houston location of Star Cinema Grill will be built in the Miramesa Town Center at the northeast corner of West and Fry roads.

The 45,000-square-foot theater is positioned to serve residents in the Bridgeland and Towne Lake master-planned communities. It is expected to open in the summer of 2017.

Patrons at Star Cinema can order food from their seats from a menu that includes salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers and pizzas. Plans at the Cypress location also include a lounge and bar area where patrons can purchase beer, wine and craft cocktails. Theaters will be equipped with the latest projection and 3D technologies, according to officials with Read King, the site’s developer.

The announcement came several days before the Oct. 17 grand opening of Miramesa, a 1,400-home community being built on 600 acres just north of the theater site at Fry Road and Mirabella Drive. www.starcinemagrill.net
