The North Texas Tollway Authority board of directors approved advertising design and construction contracts for several toll roads during its Aug. 19 meeting.
The contracts to be advertised include design and construction for the Dallas North Tollway and President George Bush Turnpike widening projects.
The board also approved an environmental engineering services contract for the Sam Rayburn Tollway—also called SH 121—widening project.
Each project is expected to help NTTA accommodate for the growing traffic congestion in the region.
