Curry Leaf Café LLC's restaurant on William Cannon Drive is now open and will hold a grand opening in mid-June, owner Suresh Sitapara said.

“It is Indian food and completely vegetarian,” he said of the new restaurant, located at 3601 W. William Cannon Drive. Sitapara also owns Man Pasand Grocery, which is also in the Southcross Plaza Shopping Center.

Curry Leaf had a soft opening May 28 and offers dishes such as malai kofta, chole masala and palak paneer as well as appetizers, curries, rice, salad and dessert, he said.

The business offers an $8.99 buffet for lunch and dinner. Curry Leaf is closed Mondays. More information is available at www.curryleafcafeaustin.com.
