• Co-sponsored HB 786 would give state employees the right to express breast milk in the workplace and force employers to provide a place, other than a restroom, for employees to do so. The bill passed the Senate on May 24 and has been sent to the governor’s office.

• SB 189 aims to protect insurance policyholders from price hikes or cancellation for asking questions about their home or automotive insurance coverage. The Senate passed the bill on April 7, and the House passed it on May 27. The bill now awaits action by the governor.
