Real estate agency Avison Young has been hired to market Deison Technology Park to prospective tenants on behalf of the city of Conroe.

The Conroe Industrial Development Council acquired the
248-acre property, located along FM 1484 near the intersection with FM 3083, in 2011. Development was completed in August, and the council hired Canada-based Avison Young to market the property to corporate or research and development companies interested in relocating operations to the site.

The city is targeting software development firms, electronic manufacturing companies or data center operations as possible tenants.

City Administrator Paul Virgadamo said proximity to Lone Star Executive Airport and Conroe Park North industrial park are competitive advantages that may appeal to prospective tenants.

“It is right between the airport and the industrial park,” Virgadamo said. “The airport is an asset for us because a lot of the corporate people have an opportunity to land right there and be able to come right to the technology park, industrial park or to Conroe.”
