Davis not seeking re-election to Travis County Commissioners Court

Travis County Commissioner Ron Davis has announced he will not seek re-election to the Travis County Commissioners Court next year.


Davis shared the news during a recent fundraiser held on his birthday, according to Sue Spears, one of his executive assistants. Spears said Davis is planning to retire.

Davis, a native Austinite, was first elected to the Precinct One seat on the commissioners court in 1998
