As a result of anticipated freezing weather conditions, Hays CISD has canceled all classes scheduled for March 5. All classes and after-school activities have been canceled for Hays CISD students. San Marcos CISD will operate on a two-hour delay. All district schools will open two hours later than normal on March 5. Austin Community College closed all its campuses at 9:30 p.m. on March 4 and will reopen them at 1 p.m. March 5, ACC Spokeswoman Jessica Vess said. All classes and events scheduled before 1 p.m. will be canceled.
