All Austin ISD schools and offices will be closed March 5, according to a March 4 district news release.

Winter weather conditions are expected, with the Texas Department of Transportation advising drivers to use caution tonight and early tomorrow morning.

AISD's extracurricular activities are also cancelled.

The district said it will keep the community updated using its Twitter and Facebook accounts as well as on AISD TV Channel 22.
