The 29,000-square-foot facility will be constructed on the southeast corner of Fry and Cypress N. Houston roads and will be leased by private real estate company Transwestern. "The payer mix and insured population in this area will draw top-level physicians to the development, especially as average household income and number of projected households continues to grow exponentially," Transwestern Medical Leasing associate Ashley Cassel said. The facility will feature covered parking, a covered patient drop-off and a modern two-story lobby. Construction is expected to begin when the facility is 50 percent preleased. Mischer also recently developed the Shops at Cypress Creek Lakes, a 30,000-square-foot retail development adjacent to the new project, and has plans to develop an additional retail complex farther south on Fry Road at the Tuckerton Road intersection. "All these things residents need and want are here," Mischer's vice president Randy Corson said. "I think the retail and commercial development is coming in because of the needs of the families living here in the area." Cypress Creek Lakes is a 1,600-acre development that will feature 2,100–2,300 homes when the community is built out. For more details on the projects, see Community Impact Newspaper's Jan. 22 edition.
