Pflugerville officials passed ordinances Sept. 9 to alter more speed limits on roads throughout town and add two new neighborhood stop signs.

City Council approved new speed limits on Becker Farm Road, Heatherwilde Boulevard, New Meister Lane and Pflugerville Parkway. New speed limit signs are marked with orange flags.

Two new stop signs facing east and west have been added on Cheyenne Valley Drive at the intersection with San Chisolm Drive.

In an August presentation to the City Council regarding speed limit changes, Assistant City Manager Tom Word said population growth has changed traffic volume and speeds and new limits should improve traffic flow.
