Pflugerville ISD The board of trustees approved a $189.8 million budget for the 2014–15 fiscal year and a property tax rate of $1.54 per $100 of valuation, according to an Aug. 21 news release.

The current budget is $8 million higher than the previous year's budget, but the tax rate remains the same. The new fiscal year began Sept. 1.

The new budget includes a 3 percent raise for all full-time workers and more staff for Dearing Elementary School, which is PISD's 20th elementary school.
