Cedar Park's first Sprouts Farmers Market will open at 7 a.m. Aug. 27 with a celebration and giveaways through Sept. 6.
The 27,000-square-foot store at 1530 Cypress Creek Road offers natural and organic produce, bulk and baked goods, dairy, meat, and other groceries. Sprouts will host a ribbon cutting Aug. 27 followed by refreshments and prizes including a reusable bag with each purchase, coupon books and samples. The first 200 shoppers in line will also receive 20 percent off their initial total purchase.
The store's grand opening celebration continues Aug. 30 and Sept. 6 with free sandwich coupons for the first 100 customers to make a purchase. On Aug. 30, customers who find a golden ticket in the store will receive $20 off their purchase. On Aug. 31, Sprouts will offer $5 coupons for every 15th customer. www.sprouts.com. LaCaze said the eatery, located in the County Glen Plaza on US 183 south of Crystal Falls Parkway, is named after a fictional wolf-like creature known in Acadiana and New Orleans.
