Premier Family Physicians expects to have its medical home facility, Southwest Medical Village, completely occupied by the end of the year, Marketing Director Marny Lifshen said.
The village was 98 percent leased and 80 percent occupied in mid-June, she said.
Howerton Eye Center has signed a lease and is in the process of constructing its suite inside the 80,000 square foot building. Dental practice Central Texas Oral Health will open in September.
Later in the fall, NeuroTexas, Austin Heart, Texas Heart and Vascular, The Urology Team and pediatrician Casey Mulcihy will join the village.
"Things are going really well," Lifshen said. "We have gotten excellent feedback from the tenants, which we've affectionately nicknamed the villagers. They are enjoying being part of a collaborative and communicative community that is different than many office parks. It is really about developing a complete sense of service to the patient and [practices] are collaborating across offices."
When finished, the village will be home to Premier and specialty practices, including laboratory, imaging and pharmacy services.
