7-story, 215,000-square-foot office started its build in May
Riverside Resources began construction in early May on Capital Ridge, a seven-story, 215,000-square-foot office building located on the same campus as Hotel Granduca Austin, a 194-room hotel currently under construction.
The office building, located off Capital of Texas Hwy. and Bee Caves Road, will share a parking garage with the adjacent hotel and will feature a three-story lobby, private terraces on various building levels and be Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, or LEED, certified.
"We are excited for the opportunity to deliver 215,000 square feet of Class A office space in a Hill Country setting," said Win Smith, a member of the development team for the project. "With the hotel, the views and its central location, we think it's a very attractive option."
The office and hotel builds are on a 38-acre site, 32 acres of which will be dedicated green space.
Doug Opalka, senior managing director of HFF, said the firm arranged construction financing for the project.
