Sunset Valley City Council approved code changes May 6 related to rainwater harvesting systems, City Administrator Clay Collins said.

"It is cleaning up the code to [clarify] that the smaller [rainwater collection systems] will not be regulated," he said.

The council also approved some exemptions for larger systems—tanks up to 350 square feet in size would not count toward limitations on accessory structures. The council planned to discuss related topics at its May 20 meeting.
