With all precincts reported and a total of 2,000 votes counted, Chris Putnam took the race for Colleyville City Council Place 3, according to unofficial results.



Putnam beat out incumbent Stan Hall with 1,199 total votes, or 59.95 percent of the vote. Hall had 40.05 percent, with a total of 801 votes.



Putnam said for the Community Impact Newspaper election issue in the April edition that he is committed to preserving Colleyville's culture and character, and will work to manage growth efficiently.



Results are unofficial until canvassed.

Unofficial early voting results show Chris Putnam leading in the race for Colleyville City Council Place 3 against challenger and incumbent Stan Hall.



Putnam received 713 votes with Hall following at 507 votes. Putnam took 58.44 percent of total votes, and Hall had 41.56 percent of total votes.



The race for Place 4 drew only incumbent Jody Short.
