Seventh-grade students from Hudson Bend and Lake Travis middle schools were recognized April 17 for their high ACT or SAT scores as part of the Duke University Talent Identification Program.

The program recognizes seventh-grade students based on standardized test scores achieved while attending elementary or middle school. Students are then invited to complete either the SAT or ACT for college entrance, where several LTISD

students excelled.

Twenty seven students from the middle schools achieved scores equal to or better than half of the nations college-bound seniors and qualified for a state recognition ceremony May 29 at Trinity University in San Antonio.
