Live music, magicians, clowns and fireworks will be on display when the Waterway Nights Summer Series returns to The Woodlands in June.
The series is produced by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau, and will feature musical acts from Grady Skelton, Dr. Zog, Scott Evans and Yelba, said officials with The Woodlands CVB.The free event will be held on Saturdays throughout June, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and will feature a fireworks display to close each evening at about 8:55 p.m..
"Many families come early and grab a patio dining spot in one of the restaurants in Waterway Square or they can enjoy a picnic right in front of the fountains," CVB President Nick Wolda said. "The addition of fireworks after each concert makes Waterway Nights a great part of a getaway to The Woodlands."
Paid covered parking is available at 24 Waterway Parking Garage, the Waterway Square Parking Garage, and a surface parking lot along the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place. Blankets, lawn chairs and coolers are allowed on Waterway Square.
