Pinball enthusiasts will gather in Frisco March 28–30, and the festivities include an attempt to take down a Guinness World Record for most people playing pinball at one time.
At 4:45 p.m. March 28, as part of the 2014 Texas Pinball Festival, a Guinness World Record official will be on hand at the Embassy Suites Hotel/Frisco Conference Center, 7600 John Q. Hammonds Drive, to determine if a new record has been set. The current record is 100 people.
The attempt sets up a weekend of pinball fun. More than 400 vintage and new pinball machines, classic arcade games and slot machines will be set on free play. Adult and children's pinball tournaments will be held.
Vendors will be selling parts, supplies, equipment and memorabilia all weekend.
