Travis County released updated unofficial vote totals that include the provisional ballots cast between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Election Night.
According to the updated count, Sarah Eckhardt received 25,517 votes or 55 percent of the vote. Andy Brown received 20,868 votes or 45 percent of the vote.
The final canvassed results will be released on March 13.

According to unofficial results from Travis County, Sarah Eckhardt has won the Democratic Party primary for county judge.
Eckhardt received 24,274 votes, or 54.9 percent. Andy Brown received 19,952 votes, or 45.1 percent.

According to unofficial results from Travis County, Sarah Eckhardt leads Andy Brown among early voters to be the Democratic Party nominee for county judge in November.
Eckhardt received 12,183 votes, or 53.4 percent of the early turnout. Brown received 10,645, or 46.6 percent of the early turnout.
Brown served as chairman of the Travis County Democratic Party from 2008–2013. Eckhardt served on the Travis Count Commissioners Court from 2006–2013.
The winner of the Democratic primary will go on to face Republican Party nominee Mike McNamara, Libertarian Party nominee Rick Perkins, Green Party nominee Jeffrey Questad and independent candidate Richard T. McCain in the Nov. 4 general election.
Earlier in the day, District Court Judge Lora Livingston extended polling hours to 9 p.m. after inclement weather delayed the opening of polling locations. Any ballots cast during the extra two hours are considered provisional ballots.
All results are unofficial until canvassed. Final election results will be available on March 13.
