Hutto was named number nine of the 'Ten Best Places in Texas' list released by Movoto, a national real estate firm.
Movoto gave Hutto the ranking based on its proximity to Austin, low teacher to student ratios in its schools, low crime rates and desirable house prices. Its amenities also helped it beat out 200 other locations to make the list.
"It has the benefit of being just outside of Austin where there's always something going on," Movoto said in its analysis.
