Crawfish Shack & Oyster Bar will open its second location Feb. 21 in the Southpark Meadows shopping center at 5 p.m., owner Hiep Nguyen said.
The new restaurant has a full bar and will serve char-broiled oysters in addition to the menu's boiled crawfish; crawfish, shrimp and sausage gumbo; and seafood platters.
Nguyen said the restaurant had been getting many requests to open a location in Southwest Austin.
"South [Austin] is growing," he said. "When the space became available, I thought it was a great space for us."
The restaurant is located at at 9500 S. I-35, Ste. C.
