The Cy-Fair ISD board of trustees approved attendance boundary changes for more than 20 campuses Feb. 13.

The adjustments were made to 17 elementary campuses and six middle schools, including Anthony Middle School, which is set to open in the master-planned community of Towne Lake this fall.

"In drawing the attendance boundaries for Anthony, we wanted to pick a plan that would provide significant relief to Smith Middle School, but also one that would keep students in close geographical proximity to the school," said Teresa Hull, associate superintendent for governmental relations, communications and chief of staff.

Members of the community had the opportunity to submit input on the changes throughout late December and January, and several parents spoke during the January board meeting as well to voice concerns and input.
