Local realty agency RE/MAX Capital City announced a partnership with Hope Alliance on Aug. 29 to donate at least $25,000 per year for the next five years to assist the nonprofit's emergency shelter.
In addition to its financial contribution, RE/MAX plans for its realtors to volunteer at Hope Alliance, a domestic and sexual violence resource center and shelter located in Round Rock, a news release said.
"This is an amazing collaboration between the for-profit and nonprofit sectors," Hope Alliance CEO Patty Conner said in the release. "Everyone involved recognizes that the need for Hope Alliance's services in this community far exceeds the agency's current resources. This is an exciting opportunity to be able to rehab our current shelter and look at ways of possibly expanding our services."
