Lone Star College will offer three classes this fall at Magnolia High School, officials at college said.
"Lone Star College-Tomball offers students opportunities to learn day or night, on campus or online," said Lee Ann Nutt, vice president of instruction at LSC-Tomball. "In this case, we are bringing the campus to Magnolia High School to provide a close-to-home option for our students in the Magnolia area."
The college will offer ENGL 1301 Composition and Rhetoric I, HUMD 0330 Student Success and HIST 1301 US History to 1877. Classes will be 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays starting Aug. 27. The 14-week session will end Nov. 26.
"These three courses are part of most degree and transfer plans," Nutt said. "So, no matter the student's goal, we're hoping these courses close to their home will make it easier to reach their goal."
LSC-Tomball also offers courses at Tomball ISD.
