Eanes ISD is scheduled to hold a communitywide forum April 11 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. at Valley View Elementary School, 1201 S. Loop 360, to inform and solicit a dialogue from area residents about the district's facilities master plan project.

The program is set to feature an update on the facilities master plan and a presentation on the highlights and challenges found on each EISD campus. Consultants from Cunningham Group Architects, hired by EISD to coordinate this project, plan to introduce their vision for Eanes facilities and the standards needed to accomplish it. Community members will also be given the opportunity to talk about the future of district facilities.

The facilities master plan project began in December 2012 when EISD enlisted the help of consultants, community members, district staffers, parents and students to focus on what is needed in the district's campus facilities. Committee members will ultimately prioritize their recommendations to guide future fiscal decisions of the EISD board of trustees.
