Milestone Community Builders is scheduled to host a grand opening event Feb. 23 to introduce The Reserve at Brushy Creek, a new neighborhood located on Wilson Ranch Road less than a mile west of the Parmer Lane and Brushy Creek Road intersection in Cedar Park.

The event, which is to be held on-site from 1–3 p.m., is expected to feature catering from Hey Cupcake!, face painting, a petting zoo, live music and incentives to buy a home. The 30-acre residential development offers 130 single-family lots starting in the low $300,000 range.

Marketing Director Natalie Bowers said nine homes are currently under contract in the subdivision, which is one of four Milestone-built neighborhoods in Cedar Park. Others include Scottsdale Crossing, Cypress Creek and Paradiso Villas.

Milestone CEO Garrett Martin said the community is alluring to homebuyers who specifically seek a new home in Cedar Park, where new land for residential development is scarce compared with nearby communities such as Leander.

"Even through the downturn in the economy, we were actively pursuing land in Cedar Park," he said. "There are very few land pieces left, and we are excited to offer homebuyers upscale living and excellent amenities."
