The University of St. Augustine School for Health Sciences is working on adding more degree options.

Student Services Coordinator Heather Portillo said 76 students are enrolled in the physical therapy doctorate program. Students who graduate with that degree can become entry-level, licensed physical therapists, she said.

In 2013, the school plans to add an orthopedic physician assistant degree and hire a director and support staff for the master's degree in occupational therapy program it aims to begin offering in 2014, campus director Patricia King said. A grand opening and open house is set for Feb. 8.
