Clients are still finding their favorite stylists eight months after owner Anthony Pesce branched out to start Men's Hair Center in Cedar Park.

Pesce estimates 90 percent of his clients followed him when he started his own business last year. He and manager John Moreno are joined by three other experienced stylists who also bring loyal customers with them.

The full-service, upscale men's hair salon features an inviting, corporate-free atmosphere, Pesce said, which includes an old-school men's barber shop setting, an extensive record collection and local sports memorabilia.

"A lot of clients come in and say they enjoy the environment," Pesce said.

Men's Hair Center prides itself on incorporating innovative techniques on traditional barber shop methods, said Pesce, who also became a licensed barber so he can perform full-service shaves.

And the outlook appears bright in 2013, as Pesce intends on expanding his staff by adding two barber stations by the end of the year.
