Construction on Phase 1 of the Trails at 620 Shopping Center is currently finishing. The 69-acre development recently opened with Galaxy Movie & Eatery on Nov. 9. The 11-theater cinema features both dine-in and standard theaters.

Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More, which prints custom-designed T-shirts with a 24-hour turnaround, opened in November and is one of many additions to the first phase of the project anlong with Mattress Firm, Beau Kisses and more.

The planned 250,000-square-foot shopping center, owned by developers Leslie Perry Sloan and Rodney Speaks, will provide a welcome break for travelers along 620 who can stop to grab a bite to eat or shop, Galaxy General Manager Mark McLaughlin said.

A Freebirds World Burrito, a California build-your-own burrito chain; Sport Clips, which provides low-priced haircuts in a sports-oriented atmosphere; and Highlights Gametime Grill, an entertainment-oriented sports bar, are all scheduled to open in early 2013.
